The Minnie V is owned by the City of
Baltimore and is used as a tourist attraction in Baltimore s
Inner Harbor. During the oyster season, the boat is leased to the
bays waterman. It is rigged for oystering and it then
becomes a working skipjack. Dave's painting, Minnie V, depicts
the boat harvesting oysters on the Choptank River off Howells
Point.
