"For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special fascination with nature" says Art LaMay. "To know that I have captured the subject of the scene as it really is in its natural setting is a true encouragement. To do a portrait, to bring out the comical or even human characteristics as we often see them is true enjoyment." 

 Art LaMay has been selected as Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year for Northern Wildlife Expo, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Florida Wildlife Exposition, and Northeastern Wildlife Exposition. He has been commissioned by the South Carolina Waterfowl Association for Duck Stamp Prints five consecutive years and has been Poster Artist of the Year for the Easton Waterfowl Festival and Texas Wildlife Exposition.

Invited working artist to exhibit at the Epcot during their Flower & Garden Festival since 1997.

1998-99: Designed artwork depicting fie major waterfowl flyways for Anheuser-Busch Stein Collection in coordination with Ducks Unlimited for steins.

1998-99: Original of Pintail Ducks selected and prints produced for Friends of the National Rifle Association art campaign program.

1998-99: Print of the Year for National Wild Turkey Federation and Print of the Year for the National Rifle Association.
