Two wonderful letters from a great man
(the late) Harry W. Kelley Mayor of Ocean City Maryland during the 60s
& 70s
Dear Buddy and Dave:
All the work you two have done for my office is perfectly beautiful -
your taste is superb and your work that of a craftsman - but this
letter is to thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in framing the
article from the News-American. When I look around my office I not
only look at the pictures and who is in these particular pictures, but
I look at the frames and how perfectly beautiful they blend or match
what they surround. My thanks to two very nice people! With kindest
personal regards, I remain
Sincerely yours,
Harry W. Kelley

Dear Buddy
and Dave:
It's kind people like you that restore one's faith in their fellowmen.
You folks have done so much to enhance the beauty and interest of the
Mayors office with your unique ideas for framing the various and
sundry pictures and memorabilia the Mayor receives. My sincere thanks
for the pictures of the Governor and his Lady, and the framing of the
picture of the Montego Bay area. I'm sure I have left out many more
you have done, especially for me, so please do include any and all of
these. Your generosity is exceeded only by your civic interest and the
pride in your craftsmanship. With kindest personal regards, I remain,
Sincerely yours,
Harry W. Kelley
